In subsequent years, the headquarters moved in Biella being a strategic place for the textile industry and Ilario Ormezzano became 10B (Ilario Ormezzano Biella). Then, thanks to the contribution of Mr. Franco Ormezzano, successor of the Cav. Ilario, it had continued to grow and expand.

In 1980 Mr. Giancarlo Ormezzano, Franco's first-born, assumed the leadership of the company, keeping alive the tradition. He built a new plant in Gaglianico to replace the previous one in Biella, in order to comply with the high standards of safety, quality and eco sustainability.

In 1988, 10B acquired SAI (Industrial Supplying Company founded in 1876) a branch of Montedison, the most important Italian chemical company of that time

In 2000 the two companies merged, creating the Ilario Ormezzano-SAI.

In 2003 the Company acquired RATTI, a chemical distribution company founded in 1927 and based in Milan.

In 2011, another valuable piece in the evolution of the Company is the acquisition of Pharmaline Sri,
a company focused in trading pharmaceutical intermediates and API (Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients)

Withthisfurtherstep forward,the Company Ilario Ormezzano-SAI SpA can satisfy a wider share of the Italian market, particularly oriented towards the pharmaceutical industry and in general towards the distribution of basic chemicals and solvents. In addition, the Company has developed the productive part of the mixing of powders and liquids.

The Company so far constitued has headquarter offices in Gaglianico, together with the plant and the laboratory analysis. Recently has bought also commercial offices in Milan (via Ripamonti 44) where the three divisions SAI, Ratti and Pharmaline have been grouped. In addition the Company has at its disposal a stock of bulk material in Siochem, warehouse in Bollate (Milano).

Today Ilario Ormezzano-SAI SpA, thanks to many years of experience and a better quality, can satisfy a wide demand in both Italian and European market through a broad range of products which serves the textile, mechanical, metal plating, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and detergent industries.
